You fill up my senses...

I'm sitting in my apartment reminiscing and missing my Grand Parkway family a bit - about to listen to Neil's sermon entitled, "The Amish Go to a Home Show" which has me quite intrigued. This week I've had lots of time to be lost in my thoughts and converse with God as I painted ceiling tiles. And He's refreshed me, reminding me of where I've been and how He drew me here - and one of those ways He spoke to me was through John Denver's "Annie's Song." Marcie had played it for me well before we sung it in church as part of worship - and this week He brought it to my mind again, and I just had to download it from iTunes. In case maybe you've forgotten this song or never heard of it before let these lyrics wash over you:

Annie's Song

You fill up my senses
like a night in a forest
like the mountains in springtime,
like a walk in the rain
like a storm in the desert,
like a sleepy blue ocean
you fill up my senses,
come fill me again.

Come let me love you,
let me give my life to you
let me drown in your laughter,
let me die in your arms
let me lay down beside you,
let me always be with you
come let me love you,
come love me again.

let me give my life to you
come let me love you,
come love me again.

You fill up my senses
like a night in a forest
like the mountains in springtime,
like a walk in the rain
like a storm in the desert,
like a sleepy blue ocean
you fill up my senses,
come fill me again.
